The seminar will provide an overview of the types of relationships covered by family law including cohabitants, spouses and civil partners. It will then look at the ancillary reliefs available from courts when those relationships break down. The seminar will then turn to look at issues around the inter-jurisdictional family including serving papers on a spouse in another country, recognition of foreign divorces in Ireland and enforcement of financial reliefs.
